What's the Difference Between TA-1 & TA-2?

A Technical Analysis Level 1 ( TA-1) or Technical Analysis Level 2 (TA-2) inspection can be done by an experienced technician at the customer's jobsite or the dealership. These inspections can be beneficial by maximizing the machines life, increasing productivity and helping to avoid unplanned downtime.

TA-1 inspection is a visual inspection of the machine. The technician performs:

  • Leak checks
  • Sealing condition checks
  • Visible structural checks
  • Noise checks
  • Broken, loose or missing parts check

TA-2 inspection is a detailed inspection of the machine's systems and components. The technician performs all of the above plus:

  • Pressure Checks
  • Cycle time checks
  • Cylinder drift checks
  • Back to factory standards
